The Lord of the Dark Posts: 15,358 Group: Member Member #11,968 Joined: January 7, 2015 Gender Male Country Spain	The show didn't really have many surprising scenes, in my opinion, some were more predictable than others, especially the characters' sacrifices. I still cried like a b*** twice when Piccolo sacrificed in Z and GT, though. If we're allowed to include the movies, then Cooler transforming into his 5th form is my pick. I could've NEVER expected that transformation.
	Piccolo: Just how many people have you sacrificed?! Cell: Sacrifice? Hmph, rubbish! On the contrary, it is an honor to become a fraction of my power.

Gohan, the boy who froze against Nappa, was absolutely wrecking a being comprised of cells belonging to the most powerful warriors in the universe before he hit puberty. It was pretty god damn epic.

That's the first real situation where someone has died directly for someone else, and it was shock to see it being Piccolo considering he was supposed to be the evil rival of Goku. I also have to mention Freeza surviving the Genki-dama, reappearing, wounding Piccolo and killing Krillin. For me that tops what follows. Edited by Emmeth, Aug 9 2016, 01:04 PM.

Posts: 511 Group: Member Member #6,899 Joined: October 23, 2011	-When Vegeta got angry and went apeball against Cell for killing Trunks; that was a pleasant surprise -When Zarbon transformed and defeated Vegeta; I expected Vegeta to wreck Zarbon like he did Dodoria and Cui when I first watched that part of the storyline, and I never expected Zarbon to be able to transform -When Ginyu switched bodies with Goku; that was potentially a life-ruining moment for our primary protagonist -Upon finding out that Frieza was only at one percent of his full power when he was fighting Goku -When Kid Buu destroyed Earth (250+ episodes of trying to protect the planet, not even counting the Dragonball anime, and BOOM, there it goes) When Evil Buu absorbed Fat Buu and became Super Buu. Buu was already terrifying enough in his fat childlike form, but then he became truly evil.
	I'm getting very angry with you, and for me that is a very bad thing, so watch yourself.

Posts: 511 Group: Member Member #6,899 Joined: October 23, 2011	Another jaw dropping moment was when Goku and Vegeta decided not to fuse to fight Kid Buu and crushed the Potara earrings. A very dumb decision. I realize that Toriyama wanted the show to have a more dramatic ending by having Goku just barely defeat Buu versus Vegito stomping him easily, but I wished they would have made it so that Buu became so dangerous that even Vegito would only barely be able to win.
	I'm getting very angry with you, and for me that is a very bad thing, so watch yourself.
